The China Merchants Hotel ( Zhaoshang binguan ) is situated next to the Canton Trade Fair and facing the beautiful Liu Hua Lake. It is only 500 metres away from the railway station and 10 minutes drive from the airport.

The hotel has a total of 240 guestrooms and suites, and all are equipped with TV, IDD telephone, mini bar and central air-conditioning.

For business, the hotel has various meeting rooms of different sizes, and the business center can provide secretarial services, as well as access to fax, typing and photocopying. For relaxation, the hotel has a gymnasium, a beauty salon, a shopping arcade, and a karaoke center.

The hotel has two restaurants, the Cafe de Eden , a cosy place that serves Western food, and the Flory City Restaurant , that offers good Chinese cuisine in a huge surrounding hall.
