nice hotel
this was my 1st time visit to Guangzhou China.This hotel provide good service & nice accomodation.Its room quite big,comfortable bed/pillow & i have a deep sleep at night. Eventhough around the hotel no shooping complex, at its lobby got Starbuck cafe for easy tea time & relax. If you want halal foods, walk opposite hotel road we could find Halal food small restaurant about 20-30mins walkway.

A cut above the rest of the Chinese "local" hotels
Stayed for 1 night at RMB 578 excl. breakfast which could have been added for extra RMB 58. (Possible negatives) Not much except the following: 1) Automatic lock for each room but the door does not close tightly on its own and thus the alarm went off once. 2) Slow and inefficient check-in & check-out procedure. (Positives) 1) Starbucks "in" the lobbry area. The aroma of coffee conforts you. 2) Relatively clean bathroom. 3) Nice pictures of old Guangzhou in the room (above the bed and close to the entrance) 4) a very famous (& reasonable!) Guangdong restaurant within 1 minute-walk proximity. 5) a nice hard mattress (which may not be preferred by some) I do not proclaim that I will an avid repeater but this hotel is "more than acceptable" compared to other local hotels in the major cities of China.

I'd stay here again
So nice to return to a clean and comfortable hotel room after a hot and humid day touring Guangzhou. Furnishings and design are modern, rooms are clean and well-let with floor to ceiling windows and lots of mirrors. Even the bathrooms are bright. Good view of the city. Bedding and beds are comfortable and even the towels are large, plush, and fluffy. Doesn't hurt either that there's a buffet breakfast for 38cny and a Starbucks in the lobby. I had a friend drive me around town so I can't say much about the location as some other reviewers have. Best hotel I've stayed in in China. I'd stay here again

staff super-friendly
This is my "go-to" place in Guangzhou. I have stayed here already more than 5 times for business. The facilities are wonderful, rooms are big. comfortable,modern and clean. Starbucks is in the lobby with other options nearby. The staff are super-friendly.

big room and bed
The hotel is a block away from bus station and 1.5KM from closest Metro. It seems to close to everywhere but not close enough to walk during the hot and humid weather in GZ. The check-in took a while since the front desk girl was trying to see which pages of my passport should be copied according to the local law. The first trip to my room, located on the third floor to the roof, took a while. There're three elevators in total for both customers and staff; it didn't take me the third time in it to notice the staffs were frequently traveling between the third floor and the forth floor. The room is big and clean, my room has a bed is 2.8M wide and 2.5M deep and it's more than enough for a couple to sleep in. For a business traveller, it's not a bad choice accompany by Starbucks in the lobby and taxi cabs outdoor. I'd stay somewhere close to a Metro next time.

large room, but wifi slow
The room, I stayed in a executive room, was rather generous in size and has a small pantry. There is wifi in the room but the connection speed is pathetic! Took about 3mins to load a web page and I reverted to data roaming to send emails.

service need improvement
Check in was fast though. There was nothing commendable about the reception staff. They were eager to send me off to my room. Do note that if you need to exchange currency, there is a machine at the lobby which accepts only certain currencies. I needed to exchange sgp dollars for rmb. The reception directed me to a bank across the road as they do not offer such services at the hotel reception.

excellent room, friendly staff
It was more of a business stay. Hotel was very clean, rooms were spotless and bathroom excellent. Did not have breakfast there so wont be able to advise on that. Staff were not fluent in English but were always willing to assist wherever they could. It is rather safe as you need to have your keycard to be able to use the elevator.
