Too noisy
Bring you earplugs, elevators are very noisy at night and if your room is near, plan on no sleep. Help desk not helpful. 4 people at desk and every time I was told I do not know or just no.

Excellent value for a top hote
I though this hotel represented excellent value in a great location in Guangzhou, even in the middle of the Canton Fair. The room was surprisingly big, had free Internet (though not wi-fi) and was kept very clean. The food in the complimentary breakfast was western in style (though other options were available) and both plentiful and adequately tasty.
The staff all spoke English and were very helpful in getting me around Guangzhou as I was there for my first Canton Fair. I will not bother looking for another hotel when I next return to Guangzhou, it's straight to the Rosedale for me!

the room has exquisite oriental touch...free internet is provided which made photo uploads to facebook much easier...bathroom is pretty nice too.. also the breakfast was great!

construction site infront!
the Rosedale Hotel, has a 24 hour construction site infront, there was no possibility to sleep at all. that They are building a new subway line and that is why we left early. Hear that it will be finished in three month. Don't know it is true or not.
