nice staff service
The staff are very friendly and are able to help you when you need it. Not all staff speak english but most of them understand enough to help with general enquires. The assistant manager Benny is extremely helpful and speaks excellent english and is happy to help with everything from travel/tour enquiries to visa enquires.

easy access
From airport I took the Airport Express and got down at LinHe stop, LinHe I believe is their last stop (fare RMB 20, travel time 30 to 45 minutes). Waited 15 minutes for a Taxi and arrived in Donlord Hotel 15 minutes after (RMB +-50).

very good hotel
The bathroom is clean with all the amenities that a traveller would require. The towels are clean and white unlike most hotels I’ve encountered in China where the towels are old and a bit off-colour.

good service
Check In was smooth, the rooms are very good sized and nice clean toilets. Breakfast was good too although not many waiters understand English but there was always a senior member to help out. Reception and concierge staff spoke reasonably good English. Used the business center twice it was closed both the times, but they opened it for the use.

spacious and clean
The room is very spacious and clean. The air-conditioning worked well. We were able to sleep very well as the bed is very comfortable and bed sheets were clean and white. The television looked ancient though.

Best was the house keeping
Location is good near Guangzhou east station, we dis not have any problem finding taxi but then we went in non fair time. Best was the house keeping, very cordial and always ready to help also the internet in room worked excellent.

good for Canton Fair
This is a nice and clean hotel with incredibly polite and helpful staff and a good breakfast buffet. The location isn't the best but it was fine. I was at Canton Fair. It was only a 20 minute (free) shuttle to the fair. If visiting for vacation you may want a more centrally located hotel however for my purposes it was great and I would book it again!

very friendly staffs
breakfast is good, tasty and lots of selection, guest room is great, nice see-thru bathroom, warm and sweet lighting in room, wide range of TV channels, very friendly staffs especially at the concierge.

preferential price
I stayed in this hotel two times during Canton fairs. It is the only 5 stars hotel that I am aware of in Guangzhou that offers good prices during Canton Fair. All other hotels multiply theirs prices during the 15 days of the three sessions of Canton Fair. The rooms are a bit outdated but vast and clean. The breakfast is international and it has acceptable variety. The hotel offer free shuttle buses to the fair. Service is outstanding and the lobby restaurant is OK.

comfortable & pleasant stay
Quite happy & satisfied with their location & service- the room was quite clean & cozy on the 12th floor & staff was helpful.
