World’s Largest Gifts Show Goes from Strength to Strength
The HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair is a true success story. Celebrating its 26th edition in 2011, it has been bringing international suppliers and buyers together now for over a quarter of a century, and is the world’s largest event of its kind.

Record-Breaking Show
The last edition was the biggest to date, with 4,000-plus exhibitors from 36 countries and regions. Coming through the doors, eager to source from these top-quality suppliers, were 48,945 buyers from 141 countries and regions.

Top Location
The show is staged at the city-centre Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with excellent connectivity and accessibility.

Global Confidence on the Rise
A survey carried out during the Hong Kong Trade Development Council “mega” fairs in April 2010 found that interviewed buyers were optimistic regarding global economic development over the next 12 months. A total of 65% indicated they expected their procurement expenses to be increased and 64% said they had placed orders or were ready to place them at the fairs. Buyers from mature markets considered brand image a key factor in their procurement activities and particularly welcomed the specialist zones showcasing brands. The survey also highlighted that green products are receiving increased attention from the global marketplace.
