Furniture China is a professional international furniture exhibition with an excellent reputation for more than 16 years, launched in 1993. As one of the 3 largest furniture exhibitions in the world alongside with High Point Market and I Saloni Milano, Furniture China is held annually in September in Shanghai combining a comprehensive set of popular themes: Home Furniture, Office Furniture, Furnishings Fabrics & Lightings, Kitchen & Cabinet, Furniture Manufacturing & Supply.
From 1995 to 2009, the total sqm of Furniture China keeps an average growth of 41.8% p.a.. The financial crisis hit the global economy and as a result the Chinese export market faced huge pressures and decreased orders from overseas. However, Furniture China 2009 attracted 61,057 visitors from 160 countries or regions (including 14,852 from overseas) which shows and evidences that Furniture China plays a crucial role in the recovery process of Chinese economy.
