2008 China Yiwu International Commodities Fair

Yiwu is China Commodity City, now possesses business area of 1 million sqm, 40,000 odd stores, 28 categories and more than 200,000 varieties, which almost cover all daily consumer goods, is the largest commodity circulation, information and exhibition center as well the largest commodity export base in China.
Yiwu China Commodity City has 80,000 jobholders, more than 200,000 daily trade passenger flow, 4000 odd home and abroad famous enterprises sets up general sales office and agency in market,4000 odd foreign merchants resident in Yiwu to engage in goods purchase and export, so the products are exported to 180 odd countries and regions, the daily export goods containers reach more than 800.
The 2006 Yiwu Fair covers net exhibition area of 90,000 square meters, drew more than 16,000 domestic and foreign special purchase including over 2,200 foreign buyers, and 79 trading and purchase groups including more than 20 multinational retailing group. The 2008 Yiwu commodity fair will get on a higher level with larger exhibition area and more exhibiting booths.
